- fiber optic beads (glass beads resembling a cat's eye that change hue when capturing or refracting light)

Jewelry with a magnetic closure is strung on a 0.024 inch diameter, 49-strand stainless steel cable with nylon coating, which has a strength of 40 lb. test. Jewelry without a magnetic closure is strung on an extremely strong stretch product. Claspless jewelry, made with neodymium magnetic beads, does not need a closure or to be strung.
